Announcement of Commencement of Cleaning Robot Manufacturing Consignment Business at Hanaizumi Plant of Kuramoto Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
(Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Wang Chi, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") announced today that it has entered the Hanaizumi Plant owned by its parent company, Kuramoto Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (code number: 5216, TSE Standard, hereinafter referred to as "Kuramoto Seisakusho").We are pleased to announce that we started manufacturing consignment business of cleaning robots on February 1, 2025.
●Purpose of Commencement of Manufacturing Consignment Business
There are the following objectives behind the start of our robot manufacturing consignment business this time.
1. Responding to customer needs through Made in Japan
By manufacturing the robots currently produced in China domestically, we will meet the needs of customers seeking "Made in Japan."
2. Support for utilization of labor saving investment subsidies
Robots manufactured in Japan will make it easier for customers to use subsidies such as labor-saving investment subsidies for small and medium-sized enterprises, and can be expected to promote their introduction.
●Production Plan
Production will begin in February 2025 with a monthly production of 50 units, with further expansion planned. Eventually, production is expected to reach a total of 300 units per month for the three models, including the toilet cleaning robot.
●Future Outlook
By strengthening our manufacturing system in Japan, we aim to further improve quality and improve customer satisfaction. We will also strive to expand our product lineup and improve our production system to meet the needs of customers seeking labor saving.We look forward to your continued support.
